Prepared—Prepared for class with pencil, planner, books, homework, and other work materials.
Attentive—Eyes on staff, ears listening, lips zipped, hands and feet still.
Working
—Working on assignments, tests, clean-up, etc.
Safe—Safe in class, halls, cafeteria, bus, etc.
 

PAWS Steps for Success:

  • Quarterly Reward: Each Student must achieve a 100% in-class success rate, not missing any class periods for ASC, detention, or suspension, to qualify for quarterly rewards.

  • End-of-the-Year Reward: Each Student must achieve a 99% in-class success rate, not missing more than 1% of class periods for ASC, detention, or suspensions, to qualify for the End of the Year Reward.

  • School-Wide End-of-the-Year Reward: The entire student body must achieve a 99% in-class success rate, not missing more than 1% of class periods for ASC, detention, or suspensions, to qualify for the School-Wide End-Of-Year Reward.

 Rewards

  • Quarterly Rewards: Ice cream, music/social time, outdoor activities, open gym, etc.

  • End-of-the-Year Reward:

    • 6th grade--Idlewild Park and Soak Zone

    • 7th grade--Lakemont Park and Island Water Park

    • 8th grade--Kennywood Park!

  • School-Wide End-of-the-Year Reward: Field Day

***School Administrators have latitude in the final determination of which activities students may attend***
